Terms and conditions

This is a translation of our Dutch terms and conditions. In case of any difference, the Dutch version prevails.

House rules

• Please respect your booked time and leave the spa on time. Arriving late comes out of your own time; you will not get extra time.
• Leaving the room late? Then we will have to charge additional costs. Keep an eye on your end time yourself (tip: set an alarm on your phone).
• Shower and remove jewellery before using the facilities. Showering beforehand is mandatory.
• It is strictly forbidden to add products to the whirlpool, such as shampoo, bath bombs or bubble bath. A fine applies.
• It is forbidden to pour water or other products on the sauna yourself (ask the hostess).
• Oil is not allowed anywhere in the building.
• Smoking is not allowed indoors; smoking is only permitted in the garden.
• The use of alcohol, drugs and narcotics is not permitted. In case of violation, the hostess may have you removed from the building.
• Wearing slippers is mandatory, to prevent slipping and for hygiene (bring your own).
• Consuming food or drinks you brought yourself is not allowed. Refreshments provided by us may only be consumed in the lounge area.
• A penalty clause applies if food is found in our facilities, including in the water.
• Help preserve the relaxed atmosphere of the spa and do not play loud music on the sound system in your room.
• Follow the instructions of the staff. If you do not, Sauna Privada has the right to refuse you access to the complex.
• As a guest you are responsible for the correct use of our facilities. Sauna Privada cannot be held responsible for accidents or for physical or material damage resulting from the use of the facilities.
• In case of damage to facilities due to careless use, you as the renter are liable and compensation will be charged.
• Children and babies are welcome; responsibility lies entirely with the accompanying adults. Ages 0 to 14 must be accompanied; ages 15 to 18 may book with parental permission.
• Swimming armbands are mandatory if your child does not have a swimming certificate. Children who are not yet potty-trained must wear a swim nappy; regular nappies are not allowed.
• Sauna Privada is not liable for the loss or theft of belongings or valuables brought along.
• If you have a complaint or question about a facility, report it to the staff immediately while you are still in the room. Complaints made afterwards, after your booked time, will not be handled.
• If there has been a malfunction and staff were present, you can fill in a complaint form at the reception desk.

Cancellation

• You can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before your booking; your deposit will then be refunded.
• Up to 48 hours before your booking you can change the date for €9.95.
• Cancelling within 48 hours? Then the full amount is due: the deposit and the remaining amount that would have been paid on site.
• Within 48 hours of the scheduled date, a booking can no longer be cancelled; up to 7 days in advance you can still change the date.
• If you do not show up for your booking (no-show), 100% of the amount is due, including any added packages.
• If you call to cancel at least 2 hours in advance, we can remove any packages from the bill; you then only pay for the rental of the room.
• If payment is not received after a no-show email, we will engage a debt collection agency; the collection costs are at your expense.

Bookings for several people

For bookings of more than 4 people, a deposit of €150 is requested on site. If the room is not left in good condition (for example due to vomit, excrement, a seriously soiled jacuzzi or food scattered around the room), photos will be taken together with the guest and the deposit will be withheld.
